Fuel Policy: Indonesia Lacking Oil

Padangekspres.net-The Indonesian government claims that the country lacks oil as natural resource. Provided the fact, the policy on either fuel restriction or fuel price rise is required.
"It won't be wise to call off neither fuel restriction nor fuel price rise policy," said Energy and Mineral Resources Deputy Minister, Widjajono Partowidagdo, today.
Widjajono said Indonesia's oil reserves are less dominant that other energy sources available in the country.

People using buses, he said, tend to opt in for subsidized fuel restriction. "Car owners are mostly against the fuel restriction policy," said Widjajono.
He said around 50 percent of the nay-sayers over fuel restriction are car owners.
